time

Today is Friday, July 3rd. For the past 20+ years (weird!) this time of year equals summer, no school, potato salad and watermelon, the lake, camp, barbecues, soccer etc. etc. This year, my 23rd year, it is quite different:

-Today was the last day of 1st semester

-Tomorrow (July 4th) we have to work all day grading oral tests (8:30am-6:30pm)

ex. "How often do you exercise?" "Where were you born?" "Have you ever tried Arabic food?" "What did you use to do as a child?"... again and again and again... feliz.

-It's pouring rain-- the closest I'll get to swimming

-My skin is almost transparent. 'muy blanca' is true.

BUT! No class for a month. Just a bit of grading to get through and I'm home free.
